Topic: Duitse Peking Express gestart !!

Ik was net aan het zappen en kwam zo maar in een Duitse versie van PE terecht! Exact zo opgezet als de versie die wij kennen alleen met Duiste koppels zoals Evi und Klaus en dat soort namen. Kun je een beetje Duits verstaan is het zeer de moeite waard. Dit gaat over de route Moskou - Peking.
Het wordt uitgezonden op de zender RTL + (denk dat het een Luxemburgse zender is). Nu 0.30 aan de gang.
Volgende uitzending op 13 mei om 21.15.

De duitse PE is afgelopen vrijdagavond begonnen, ik ben het ook aan het volgen, RTL+ zit hier niet meer op de kabel, maar ik heb ook een schotel en kan het gelukkig zien. OP RTL2 is trouwens al een paar maanden de Duitse BB aan de gang, die heet das Dorf, ook dat ben ik aan het volgen.

De duitsers zullen het een stuk lastiger hebben met hun talen..
De nederlanders zijn beter in hun engels en in andere talen..
Daar door lijkt me lastiger voor hun wij zijn  meer gewent om ons aan te passen in andere landen..

Hey Siggi Welcome to realitynet.nl the best reality tv portal in The Netherlands. As you see you will find here everything concerning this type of television entertainment. I advise you to learn dutch however .
But of course I can tell you a little bit about Peking Express. The first time that PE came on TV was here in Holland, last year in 2004. We saw the same itinerary as you can see now in Germany from Moscow to Peking. So we know what you are going thru. It hooks you to the TV isn't it? The producer is Belgian and is called Kanakna Productions. You can find it on http://www.kanakna.com/  and you can choose English for reading the site.
This year, and probably next year in Germany, they traveled from Peking to Bombay. A thrilling adventure I assure you!!! In march 2006 we can expect PE 3. In secret we heared that they will travel from Tibet thrue Myanmar, Laos, Cambodja to Thailand. We will wait and see!!!

It's easy for me to understand dutch (I live close to the dutch border, near Venlo), but hard to write. Grammar is nearly the same but I can't remember the whole vocabular... so, it's no problem if you would write in Dutch if I can answer you in English

Thank you very much for this information! PE seems to be really big in the Netherlands?! In Germany, it's not so famous because RTL Television did a very bad job... but for me, it's a big dream to travel through russia - and that's why I like that show

Someone wrote in this thread, that PE would be easier for German people because the east-german people have learned the russian language in school. But as I could see, there are only west german teams, so there isn't any advantage.

Hahaha,..oke dat maakt het een stuk gemakkelijker. Niet alleen Peking Express is erg populair hier, maar verschillende soorten reality TV. Het begon allemaal met Wie  Is De Mol. Bij jullie ook bekend als Der Maulwurf. Toen kwam Expeditie Robinson(ook van Kanakna) PEking Express, Missie Antartica, Missie Kilimanjaro, Planet Race en tenslotte de Farm. En er komt steeds meer. We verwachten nog Oberon, een middeleeuws spel wat zich afspeelt in een kasteel in Polen.

Die laatste zou jij ook wel kunnen ontvangen, want die wordt uitgezonden via Nederland 1 of Nederland 2

Reality TV is generally also popular in Germany, but there are some shows in the Netherlands that we don't know. A few months ago, I could watch all the dutch television channels, but now I only receive BVN...
We had the following reality shows:

Big Brother
The show it all started with... at the moment, the 6th series is running and RTL2 said that it will NEVER end.

Die Alm
Short and uninteresting one on PRO7... 10 wannabe-celebrities two weeks on a mountain in southern Germany. Melking cows, bathing in sh*t and so on.

Die Burg
Nearly the same wannabe-celebrities as in "Die Alm" tried to live like people in the middle age. Never watched that... boring. Also on PRO7.

Ich bin ein Star - holt mich hier raus!
Also known as "I'm a celebrity - get me out of here!" - 12 celebrities in the australian jungle. Came two times on RTL. Do you know Harry Wijnfoord? He also was in there. Nice one

Mein dicker, fetter, peinlicher Verlobter
The original from USA came in the dutch television (on Yorin, if I remember right). In Germany (on SAT1), they made a remake and it was really good - better than the original.

Big Boss
Original from the USA with Donald Trump - in Germany with football manager Rainer Calmund. Funny and interesting! Twelve young people had to manage some financial projects.

Dat zijn we zeker hahah ... Op realitynet zal je niet zo gauw Big Brother vinden. Wij houden het meer bij het avontuurlijke en met iets meer inhoud. Maar alle TV programma's worden wel uitvoerig besproken in het board TV Algemeen. Dus ik zou zeggen praat lekker mee daar, zeg er wel bij dat men in het Nederlands kan antwoorden dat is wat makkelijker. 

Nu weer on topic. De duitse PE kan ik niet ontvangen, maar ik ben er zeker van dat het net zo enerverend is als de Nederlandse versie. Hebben jullie in Duitsland nergens een forum waar men over Peking Express kan discussieren?

No, we don't have a german discussion board for PE. I've searched for that yesterday and the only board that I found was this one ;-)

I did not see the dutch version of PE so it's difficult to find any differences. I think, the rules are the same (route from Moskau to Peking, fighting for Amulettes, each Amulette is 10.000 EUR, most points for the team who is the first and so on).


We have the following team characters (and I would not be surprised if they are the same in Netherlands):

- two young ladies


- crazy father with young doughter


- old man and middle-aged man who don't know each other


- middle-aged banker with middle-aged girlfriend ("normal" in person)


- middle-aged stuntman with girlfriend who jobs as model


- two young male students
- old man with wife (angry with the other teams - they do they own thing)
- middle-aged female and male - best friendy, always happy

By the way - the first german PE is still running and there are only three teams left. They are in Ulan Bator now.

I know I can talk Dutch, but I like it to write Englisch.
Well, I have a few questions:

- Are you happy with the result of the German Peking Express?
- Is there next year a new Peking Express in Germany, or isn't that clear uptill now?
- What was a bad job from RTL?

I'd like to have answers at these questions

I've seen the whole Peking Express in Germany, because I live only a few kilometers from Germany, in the north. My favourites were Mike & Susanne, because of the spontinity of Susanne, and her humor. Mike, a little boring maybe. Marc & Anja were a nice copple too, but they were TOO perfect in my point of view, but I think it was correct that they won Peking Express. (90.000euro!!) Harald & Eva, I really don't like them. The girls; Pia & Janine, were nice but then because of Janine her externel. Hans-Jörgen & Eva, yeah, they were so, soft..The guys, were cool, but that was all they were. Uuuhm..The two guys, who don't know eachother..BORING! Kim & Nadine, when I saw them I thought: Wow, they can make it to Peking! But not if you already give up in the second 'etappe'. Well, that was my point of view..
